About Me

I have always been interested in the natural, holistic approach to life.

I have a passion for yoga and massage and have been practising both since 1996/1997. I love massage; it is such a creative art. I have learnt many different types and I am qualified in advanced aromatherapy, Swedish, Indian head, sport, deep tissue, Thai massage, on site massage chair, extra strong and reflexology. Every massage is unique. I have also developed my own techniques, using my hands, elbows and even my feet to provide a very deep massage.

After discovering the great relaxation of massage I became interested in other forms of calmness. Massage has always been very closely linked to meditation practice, which led me to start practising yoga the following year.

I learnt psychological yoga from an Indian yogi, Saeed Ansari, who has been practising simple stretches and breath meditation since childhood. I am very interested in peace of mind and the elimination of repression and suppression. This allows us to express ourselves fully, enabling us to experience the joy of life. Our practice of postures, breathing and meditation are the basis on which we establish total control of our nervous system.

I am a registered member of the British Wheel of Yoga, the governing body for yoga in the UK. I offer group classes, private lessons and workshops to adults and children. My yoga classes are based upon dynamic yoga and are open and accessible to everyone.

Regular yoga practice can change your life view and experience of stress. I believe we have all the necessary tools to be healthy and compassionate, with a mind and a body that need our attention. Yoga has made me fitter, more energetic, happier and more peaceful. I want to inspire more people to discover its benefits. We need to keep smiling at each other and sharing more!
